Been wearing since 15 weeks currently 24. Not helpful for round ligament pains or any pains really. Lost tightness quickly despite following washing instructions completely. Pretty disappointing for price point
I wore this band during my second trimester while walking, it was wonderful and gave me the support I needed. BUT during the third trimester my belly started getting heavy, and the probump was a life changer. I wear this everyday!!! If you splurge on only one thing during your pregnancy... this is IT!
I am a RN and was having constant Braxton Hicks at 25 weeks while working. When I wear my Pro Bump I MIGHT have 1-2 Braxton Hicks! Total game changer! I can work without constantly being uncomfortable!
Overall, I think this is a great idea for a product and it's pretty well executed. I haven't found anything else that is supportive in this gentle way, where it doesn't feel like it's pushing anything down or excessively squeezing the bump. My only complaint is that it is not all that helpful for pear shaped body types as the garment is very straight up and down. I first got a S, which felt perfect on my upper abs, but was too tight on my lower abs/back (felt like it was forcing me to arch my lower back). I exchanged for a M, which feels good on my lower abs, but is very loose on my upper abs. I currently weigh 170lbs at 30 weeks (pre-pregnancy I weighed 142lbs and wore a size 6-8 on bottom and a size 0-2 on top). I have 43" hips, 37" bump, and 31" just under my bra line. I need the most support in my upper abs as my baby is sitting high and I'm having a lot of stretching there, so this garment unfortunately doesn't really work for that. I'm going to keep it as I think the support will continue to be nice and gentle for my lower abs especially as I get bigger, but I think a larger range of sizes or perhaps shapes would be helpful!
This band is great and I haven't been able to find anything else like it. It's well made, easily washable, and it never feels too tight even as your belly grows. I've worn it running through pregnancy, and though you may want to add a velcro-type band for extra support toward the end of pregnancy if you are still running, its definitely a must have for anyone who wants to stay active and be comfortable.
These leggings are exactly as advertised and totally worth the money. I received a quality product that provides a real hug to the pelvic area without feeling too tight. I was a little apprehensive about buying online without trying on; I'm 5'10, up to around 180lbs at the end of my pregnancy and around 140 pre-pregnancy. The sales staff was very helpful via email. I am now wearing a size Medium about 10 days post partum. I have not washed them yet, but the material seems very sturdy, definitely squat-proof. This was my third pregnancy (all vaginal deliveries) and I wish I would have had these for after my first pregnancy when I had a tough recovery from a significant episiotomy. Thanks to Baobei for making a quality garment for all the fresh Mom's who so need and deserve it! Would definitely recommend.
I want to love these, I really do. I have both bloomers and a belly band in small and I love both, they fit great and had no problems. The small legging I ordered is MUCH smaller than the other items in this line. I get it they are supposed to be tight, and they are, and I am withing a couple pounds of my pre-pregnancy weight so that shouldn't be an issue. ( I was a 2-4 before) I am 5'3" with a short torso and they constantly roll down. For a pair of leggings over $100 I expected a bit more, like pockets for starters.
I packed these for the hospital and only regret is that I waited almost a whole day to put them on. I felt stronger immediately after putting them on. Love them so much that I have two pairs and wore them basically exclusively for 6 weeks PP. I gift them to all my pregnant friends!
My last pregnancy I ordered a small size (my usual size) and they felt super snug so I would most definitely size up one to a medium this time around. I only got to wear them a few times, but I know that I would have gotten more use out of them if I would have had the time to exchange them, but being a new mom all over again I kept forgetting. This time around I will have a medium tucked away in my hospital bag for the ESSENTIALS. This brand is truly amazing and I love all of the products I have used. Not a single complaint from this mama. Now going on mom of 4!!!!
I’m currently suffering from insomnia, so I decided to review this product since I’m currently wearing it.
I gave birth April 2018 to a 8lb 7oz boy,naturally, and recovery was HELL! (I had tearing)
August 2019 I gave birth to a 7lb 4oz girl Also naturally. BUT recovery WAS NOT HELL and I have these leggings to thank.
It’s not even recommended for woman to give birth less than 18months apart because the body needs time to heal! These leggings made and continue to make the healing process amazing!!
I wore it the first day after giving birth and by day two I was up and walking around!!!
Not only have these comfortable but they are soft and they truly truly help with the recovery process.
INVEST IN THIS LADIES !
As a mama who gets super large during my pregnancies (I'm 5"3 my husband is 6"7 haha so it's so be expected) I have never felt so supported! Feels like my bump is getting a hug! The coverage is amazing, I have never had leggings that covered my entire bump and doesn't slide down with my day to day activities!! I'm very impressed! I would highly recommend these leggings.
I'm giving these 5 stars because they are really awesome and offer a really nice gentle support through the legs and lower belly. I think the fit will work for most bodies during most stages of pregnancy. I did want to note that the size guide is not super helpful. I understand why it's quite vague--everything is stretchy and it's hard to give accurate sizes when bodies, especially pregnant bodies, are all so different. But basing it on pre-pregnancy size seems particularly odd given that every body grows differently during pregnancy. So, in case it's helpful to anyone: I'm 27 weeks, 5'4" and currently 162 lbs. My hips are 42" at the widest part, belly is 36", and rib cage where the pants hit is 32", and the mediums fit me great and will hopefully continue to do so through the rest of this trimester. I will say that if you have a smaller upper body than lower (my rib cage is teeny compared to my hips), the top part of these will not be very tight or supportive. I really wanted compression up there to support my abs separating, and I thought these might do the trick, but alas, they do not. ProBump is probably better for that anyway though!
I bought a size medium, I likely could have gone down to a small but pre-pregnancy I was a size 6 in most lululemon. But I also know this is my third pregnancy and I expect to be quite large by the end of it (pre-pregnancy 145lbs at 5”7’ but gain just about 45-50lbs in each pregnancy). At 20 weeks Im still fitting in my lululemon but I know I’ll be at the end of those soon. Anyway, these leggings are crazy comfortable and really hold up nicely. I feel like even though I’ve sized up I have very good support and I have no doubt that these will take me through the entire pregnancy. Have worked out in them, no sheerness. They are totally worth every penny (and Im Canadian where the exchange isn’t in my favour, plus duties and shipping!). Would recommend to anyone.
These leggings were a key staple in my maternity wear during my last pregnancy. And I most definitely plan to buy a few more this time around! I am usually a size small, that’s what I also went with these leggings. They were snug and super comfortable. The belly support was amazing, especially the core coverage for winter pregnancy. I love these, and this is the only brand of maternity legging I trust because of the quality! Worth every cent!!
I have practiced in these twice now, and I’m loving them more and more each time I wear them. I’m 19 weeks along, and still have plenty of room to grow into in these. I’m at the point in pregnancy where movement without some sort of belly support leaves my low back feeling pretty angry, and after two back to back yoga practices wearing these, I’m feeling great! The support level is perfect - just enough hug without a hint of squish or compression. And the oh so important question that we all skim reviews for - they pass the bend over test with flying colors!
I was so hesitant to purchase these because of the price tag, but I LIVED in the BaoBei belly band through my last 2 pregnancies and know the quality of the company's products. So I decided to get the black crop leggings and am so glad I did! They felt so good after my delivery. I didn't start to wear them until about 2 weeks postpartum to allow my stomach to shrink down a little bit first. But I've been wearing them constantly since then (currently 6 mo PP). The panel is firm and supportive and the leggings are a great fit. I am 5'9" 165# and ordered a M--what I normally would wear pre-pregnancy. I went back and forth several times about whether I should order a M or L, but the M ended up being perfect; I like the snug fit of the panel. I definitely recommend these! The only thing that would make them better is pockets!
So...let me start by admitting that I'm not one to splurge on myself, so I was a little hesitant spending this kind of money on some leggings. I'm cheap, I get it. :) I did, however, take the words of advice from a few other mom-friends who had purchased these and swore by them. I used a new member discount code and saw on Instagram that they were going to offer these in a new darker teal color (Lagoon). Once the new color was released, I got a black pair (goes with anything!) and the Lagoon (truly, beautiful!). I originally ordered a size medium, which is what I typically wear. I'm 5'6" and weigh around 180 at 7 mo. pregnant. Once they came in, I stupidly tried them on...let me tell ya, they're not for a baby belly! Lol. I decided, even with the birth of a child, I probably needed to size up. I'm glad I did, too, because I just got the larges in and they will fit great (snug, but not like a freakin' sausage) once my kiddo arrives. They're a nice, smooth legging and high quality material. I will say that the seam around the pelvic and butt area (kind of their "waistband" area) do sit a bit low, like pregnancy underwear. I'm guessing I'll be grateful for that, should I need a C-section. If you're kind of on the frugal side, like me, get the discount code and don't look back. You'll like these...and they're worth it!
These are my absolute favorite leggings! I have diastasis recti and an umbilical hernia from pregnancy, and these are the only leggings that make me feel supported, slim, and “normal” again, and don’t cause pain. The material is very high quality and makes me look good all around! Well worth the price - the only thing I wear! And if you are breastfeeding, they are perfect for hiding your tummy if you have to pull your shirt up!
I wore these crops for a few days immediately postpartum before I had to size down to a small. I washed them once and somehow there is already a thread pull on the side, which is disappointing for how expensive these are. I do love the support, especially as I recover from a natural delivery and a third-degree tear.
Sculpt & Recovery Postpartum Crop Pants
Everyone was raving about these so I decided to get one. Pros: I love the support and the stretchiness. It’s something I feel comfortable going out in and does a bit better about holding the girls up than other nursing bras. I love the pull down feature and it makes nursing easy. Cons: the stitching started to come out after only 3 months of use, and I washed and hang dried it as specified. But the most annoying con was that it does not hold breast pads in place very well. I get the really big kinds but somehow in this bra they end up off the nipple, which defeats the whole point. I’m constantly having to fix them. Overall a good nursing bra, but not perfect.
You know how at the end of the day you can’t wait to take your bra off?! Well not with the adore bralette! Seriously an amazingly comfortable and non restrictive bra. The customer service is also incredible as I was on the border between sizes and of course choose the wrong one. I was in contact with someone and it made exchanging a breeze. If you’re in between sizes or are on the border I recommend sizing up.
Slightly obsessed with this bra. Its unlike any maternity bra on the market. It grows and shrinks with you through pregnancy and postpartum. Extremely comfortable, practical, and well made. Have used mine while pregnant, currently using to nurse and will continue to use after nursing! Just ordered 3 more colors!!
These bras are so comfy and easy if you are a breastfeeding mama!! I wore this when I gave birth and I wear them still 3 months later. So simple and comfy, no clips, and roomy for nipple pads. Thank you!!
Did not fit well. Very stretchy but still extremely tight for a true 38 inch band. Sad I can’t return only exchange and these do not come in a larger size.
I’m 29 weeks pregnant and these are super comfy! They have just the right amount of compression and are very flattering but beware like most of the bloomers they still give ya panty lines! My only complaint again is like with the other bloomers the little cotton area that your crotch is supposed to be on is very small and placed far back in the undies so it’s more on your bum than your front if ya know what I mean
I was skeptical about these at first. Were they really going to be worth the price (I mean 30 for underwear, really?). But I got the two pack anyway. So glad I did! I had a planned c-section. When I was in the hospital I wore the mesh undies they give you, but by the time I got home, I was out. I put on some undies I didn't care about because I didn't want to ruin an expensive pair with my continued bleeding. Those undies were so uncomfortable and almost painful on my incision. Adore Your Core cheekies to the rescue! I put them on, and literally signed outloud in relief. The fabric is so soft, the "support" was up above my incision so it wasn't putting any pressure on it and held my destroyed tummy in just the right amount. The high waisted style is flattering and hides some of those stretch marks, especially if you have your shirt up to nurse. Make sure to buy two, so you have one to wear while the other is in the wash. Totally worth the money!
I'm a 36D and found the M/L band to be uncomfortably tight. The material is light and thin, so if you're hoping for any coverage know that your nipples will be very visible with this lighter color. Overall, the bra is just "good enough." I'm in my 2nd trimester and don't expect it to last more than a couple months, honestly. For mamas needing a bigger size than me ... be careful.
I want to love this bra. I really, really do. I actually own 3 bralettes. I began wearing them around 7months pregnant and now I am 7 weeks post partum. I am exclusively nursing and love how easy they are to pull down/up to feed babe. That being said, ALL THREE of my bralettes have the seams ripping apart by the straps. I was advised this is “normal wear”. So, if you’re okay with replacing these bras every 3 months, then they’re great! But I cannot afford to buy nursing bras every 2 months simply because they cannot hold up to normal wear and tear. Great concept but product design has to be looked at. Unacceptable for all 3 bralettes to be garbage after only SIX weeks of newborn feeds.
This is a great color to go with your neutral wardrobe! It's easy to breastfeed in and I love that you can layer this color with darker bralettes for more support. I wore a XS/S when I was preggo and the bigger size once my milk came in.
I ordered two of these bralettes during the Easter special sale and love them. Pre-pregnancy I was a 32D, but am a 36D now. I am currently 38 weeks, 160 pounds, and 5'4. I like to know people's measurements in reviews when I'm ordering items. I was looking for something comfortable to wear because let's face it, shirts don't fit anymore. I looked at the sizing chart and based off the chart, it said to order a XS/S. This seemed too small for me considering my size as of right now, but trusted the chart. If I could redo this, I would have ordered the Medium/Large. My breasts are heavier so the XS/S pulls the bralette down pretty far and doesn't cover my side boob very well. I'm hoping after the baby comes, I can wear the XS/S more. If you are not sure, I would suggest sizing up. I plan to order a few more of these in the large sizes since I will soon be breast feeding and need extra space to put the breast pump since the pump I have goes inside your bra. Overall, great product for the price!
These have been a lifesaver on my pelvic floor and relieving the round ligament pain, giving me the support I need to workout and chase my other kiddos around all day.
Love the fit and feel of these leggings! One thing I was caught off guard by is that although I’m athletic my calves are larger, and the compression from the leggings makes my skin bulge out of the open slits in the calves, which I did not consider would happen. Definitely a personal preference situation, but if you’re self conscious about your legs to begin with (like myself), might want to forgo the slits.
These are the 2nd pair of the postpartum crop pants I've ordered, and I love them. I first ordered the black pair to wear soon after my delivery. I'm now almost 6 months postpartum and purchased this pair because I loved the others so much. I do think the panel is a little less firm than the black pair that I have, but I still love the pants. The color is beautiful, too. I'm normally a black and grey legging wearer but decided to branch out and am glad I did. I'm 5'9" 165# and ordered a M. They fit really well and give great support. The material is high quality. I also had great experience with the company when I contacted them with a question. I highly recommend the company and these crop pants!
